A dialogue between past and present – memory and conjecture – what was, what is, what may have been. What is beauty? Why is beauty so important? Is it what we find most ugly that we find most beautiful? Do we chase beauty – or does beauty chase us?
With these questions and this research we have been exploring the iconography of beauty, dance, pain and joy and how we create,use and portray those icons.
